Environment: Our small village is inside our farm which is 200 hectares big. It is completely immersed in the nature, between vineyard, olive grove and age-old woods.
The village is consisting of three buildings, an old master’s country house and two homesteads: they are completely renovated and can recreate the brightness of genuine Tuscan style.
The village is situated in a hilly area at 270 mt. on the sea level; it commands a view over Volterra and the Era valley hills. When you will arrive it will look like time here has stopped, so that you will discover perfumes and flavours which are almost forgotten nowadays.
The marvellous Tuscan style is present in every flat: terracotta floors, wooden beam ceiling, furnishing and trimmings in typical style. Traditional materials have been used for the restoration work, with preference being given to natural materials in order to make homes as comfortable as they used to know how to make them years ago.
There are, of course, all the comforts you need: cooking points, washing machine, ant fire system, antitheft, satellite TV, bathrooms with showers and/or bath.
In every flat there is the heating and the air condition system, and the possibility to regulate the temperature in every room. From our village, you can reach al the main tourist sites of Tuscany, form the main artistic towns to the most unknown and suggestive naturalistic places. FLORENCE, SIENA, VOLTERRA, PISA, MONTECATINI TERME, SAN GIMIGNANO, CERTALDO, SAN VIVALDO, VINCI (40 minuti).
Situation: The swimming pool, whose sheet of water is 340 square metres, has another small pool in the inside equipped with a fabulous hydro massage. Moreover there is another swimming pool for the children. The water is salty since there is marine salt system. The swimming pool is surrounded by a 2000 square metre wide solarium in Florentine terracotta tiles. There are some showers, gazebos and beach umbrellas for assuring you a comfortable relief from the summer hot.
Panoramic position
This structure is situated on a terracing, well windy, which commands a marvellous view on Era valley: the sinuous conformation of the swimming pool area, entirely paved with a valuable specific terracotta tiles, is perfectly integrated in the landscape around. It is free available: it will treat you the best of relaxation and privacy.
BARBECUE, PING PONG AND CHILDREN GAMES PARK
In the outside area we have a barbecue zone and a big space with games for children and a professional tennis table.
TREKKING and MOUNTAIN BIKE
Inside our farm, wide 200 hectares, there are many indicated routes, ideal for who wants to trekking, make excursions with mountain bikes (we have a lot of mountain bikes) or simply enjoy the beauties of the place with relaxing walks in the countryside. For example, there is some natural surfacing of calcareous sulphurous water at 25°C. where is possible to have an healthy bath; or the small church "Della pietrina",2 km far, which is situated on the top of a wood and there are ruins of medieval sighting tower. From Pietrina church is possible to admire another out of sight panorama!
BIRD WATCHING
The faunal farm which surrounds our village let you to make easy sightings of all the species of birds, roes, fallow deer’s, hares, wild pigs, foxes, ex…
TENNIS
We have a new professional tennis field for the sportsmen.
HORSE-RIDING
If you like horse-riding, for suggestive gallops in the hills around; we have special agreements with Il Fregione;.
GOLF
Fans of golf can practice it in "Golf Club Castelfalfi", that is just 7 km far.
FOOTBALL, BASKET, VOLLEYBALL AND BOWLS FIELDS
We have also football, basket, volleyball and bowls fields. They are completely new!
FISHING
Lovers of fishing can have fun in the picturesque streams and lakes, that across our farm and the hills around.
